Tim Packer is a gifted artist whose bold oils combine the abstract patterns and seasonal hues found in nature with dramatic lighting. These striking giclée canvases each convey a different mood, drawing the viewer into their intricate and colorful designs.

Packer, a former member of the Toronto police force, is now an internationally recognized painter and workshop instructor who pursued his love of painting while off-duty until resigning from the force in 2000 to pursue his art career full time. Packers bold oils rely on a strong sense of design spotlighting the abstract patterns found in the natural world. Appearing representational from a distance, upon closer inspection his paintings dissolve into countless strokes of intense, brilliant color, with an effect similar to bright sunlight streaming through a stained glass window.

People strongly identify with Packer's landscapes.
